  • Special Characters are permitted, subject to the normal restrictions for that character in their Codex.
  • Any armor, weapons and upgrades must be modeled onto the miniatures (WYSIWYG).
  • Models are required to start the tournaments fully assembled.
  • Forge World models are permitted in the tournament, but they can only be used to represent models from existing Codex lists. No Forge World rules are allowed.

Painting Scoring
Painting, basing and overall army presentation is an important part of the hobby and will be included in the player's overall score. Painting is not specifically required, but non-fully painted armies will receive an appropriate painting score. The tournament judge(s) will paint judge all participating armies. At the end of the tournament, a prize will awarded to the army with the Best Appearance.

Battle Points Scoring
As per specific scenario.

Overall Scoring
  • 50% Battle Points, 30% Sportsmanship (scored by opponents), 20% Appearance (scored by painting judge).
  • Best Overall Award to the highest total score.
  • Best General to the highest battle points.
  • Best Sportsman to the highest sportsmanship points.
  • Best Appearance to the highest painting points.
  • No player may win more than one award.
Resigning

General Tournament Guidelines

Pairings
In the first round players will be matched up randomly. All attempts will be made that groups traveling together will not have to play each other. After the first round players will be matched up according to current battle points. (first place will play second place and so on) The only exception to this is you will never play the same opponent twice.

Time Limits
We ask that each player be conscious of time and that you play at a regular and steady pace in order to complete the game. Anyone found slow playing or deliberately stalling may be asked to leave the tournament. Unless both players agree that they will have time for a complete turn, do not start an additional turn.

Terrain
Players should determine before the game begins the nature and game impact of each piece of terrain.

Lists
This is an open list tournament. You will be required to provide a copy of your army list to the judges before the tournament and to each opponent before each game begins. Lists will be checked throughout the day, if you are found to have an illegal list you will be disqualified. (Sorry boyz, be sure to check that math!)

Game Results
Players will receive a battle result sheet at the end of each round. Each player must record the battle results of the round and sportsmanship score of their opponent and turn in their signed sheet to the judges. If the judges receive no sheet from you, you get the minimum score for the round.
